Focus Areas: This module helps evaluate and plan board topics and develop board calendars in keeping with the nature of the board’s role, the allocation of its time, and the frequency of board engagement in three core responsibility areas:

• Management performance
• Governance

Outcomes:

• A board that’s clear about its priorities and time allocations and not subject to the tyranny of the urgent
• A clear sense of board and committee responsibilities and interdependencies, and time allocations and agendas that reflect them
• A board that maintains focus on the highest priority, most impactful aspects of organizational oversight
